Cheshire landowner and owner of Eaton Hall, near Chester, the Duke of Westminster, has helped elderly charity Age UK by providing nearly two hundred winter warmer packages, for distribution to Cheshire’s older folk.

Each pack contains items like thermal socks and gloves and a hot water bottle along with useful winter warmth advice.  The elderly find that keeping the heating on throughout the day is too costly so to help them through a cold winter the Age UK charity has distributed these gift packs to local senior citizens.
